Centella Five-Piece Skincare Set

This is the set for that. Five pieces built on Centella asiatica, the ingredient reactive skin is usually sent to first.

What it does for you

• Centella asiatica, from Madagascar. Soothing and calming for skin that has been irritated. It is the reason to buy this set rather than either of the others.
• Agave leaf extract. For moisture, and for holding onto it once it is there.
• Betaine. A humectant. It draws water into the skin and helps the cleanser lift grease without stripping.
• Citric acid. Included by the maker for the look of pores and for evenness of tone.
• Five pieces that were made to go together, so there is nothing to work out and nothing left over.

What is in the box

• Acne cleansing foam — 80g. A foaming wash that lifts dirt and oil while it soothes.
• Calming toner — 120ml. The step for sensitivity. Thin and watery, and it goes on damp skin.
• Moisturising gloss lotion — 120ml. A light daily moisturiser, for the balance between water and oil.
• Sun repair serum — 20ml. For skin that has taken heat or sun and stayed red.
• Sleeping pack face cream — 50g. A leave-on night cream, richer than the lotion.

Five pieces. The maker's artwork calls it a six-piece set in two places and shows five in every photograph — five is what ships, and five is what you are paying for.

How to use it

Morning: cleanse, tone, lotion, then the serum.

Evening: the same, and use the sleeping pack instead of the lotion two or three nights a week.

The sun repair serum is not a sunscreen. It is for skin that has already caught the sun. Keep wearing the SPF you have.

Is this the one for you

Yes, if your skin reacts. Redness that lingers after washing, patches that flare and settle slowly, the tightness that follows a hot day.

Before you start

Delivery and returns

Made to order. Allow up to 12 weeks: up to 11 weeks from our supplier to us, then 1–5 business days by courier to you. Delivery is R100 anywhere in South Africa.

Cancel within 2 business days of ordering for a full refund. After that a cancellation charge may apply, and our refund policy sets out each stage. Within 7 days of delivery you may cancel for a full refund under the ECT Act, and unopened items may be returned within 30 days.
