You reach for a cotton pad, use it once and throw it away. Then you do it again tonight. These are soft pads you wash and use again.

What it does for you

Each pad is soft on one side and holds your micellar water, toner or cleanser well. Wipe off makeup at night, or press on toner in the morning. When you are done, the pad goes into its little mesh bag for the wash, not into the bin.

What's in the box

Twelve round pads of about 8 cm across, and one mesh drawstring bag for washing and storing them. Choose beige, blue, grey or pink, or a mix of all four.

How to use it

Wet a pad with water or your usual remover. Hold it over your closed eye for a few seconds, then wipe gently downward. Use a fresh side or a fresh pad for the other eye. Rinse the pad after use and drop it in the mesh bag. Wash the bag of pads with your laundry in mild detergent, without fabric softener. Let them air dry.

Is this the one for you

Yes, if you remove makeup or use toner every day and want fewer things to throw away. Perhaps not, if you would rather wipe everything off in one go with a larger cloth. The Viareline Micellar Cleansing Water pairs well with these pads.

Material

Fibre named by the manufacturer as bamboo fibre, with a stitched edge. Check the label on your packaging before first use.

Before you start

Wash the pads once before their first use. Rub gently, especially around your eyes. Keep remover out of your eyes, and rinse with water if it gets in. Do not use them on broken or irritated skin. Use a clean pad each time and replace any pad that frays or stays stained after washing.
