Retinol Night Cream, 30g

Your skin used to bounce back overnight. Now it takes a little longer. This is a night cream for a few evenings a week, used slowly and with care.

What it does for you

A soft, rich cream with retinol, the ingredient many people add to their night routine as their skin changes. It goes on last thing at night, after cleansing. Squalane and hyaluronic acid are named alongside it for softness and moisture. You wake up to skin that feels smooth and comfortable.

How to use it

At night only, on clean, dry skin. Start with two nights a week, for example Monday and Thursday. Take a pea-sized amount for your whole face. Dot it on your forehead, cheeks and chin, then smooth it in. Keep it away from your eyes, the corners of your nose and your lips. After three weeks, if your skin is comfortable, move to every second night. The next morning, wash your face and put on sunscreen.

Is this the one for you

Yes, if you already have a simple routine and want to add one step at night. If you use the Vitamin C Facial Serum, keep that for the morning and this for the night. Ingredients

Before you start

Patch test first: put a little on your inner arm and wait 24 hours. Use it at night only. Retinol makes skin more sensitive to the sun. Wear sunscreen of SPF 30 or more every day while you use it. Keep using sunscreen for a week after you stop. Some dryness, tightness or light flaking in the first weeks is common. If it happens, use it less often. Burning, swelling or a rash means wash it off and stop. Do not use it with other strong actives, such as exfoliating acids, scrubs or vitamin C. Do not use it on broken, sunburnt or freshly waxed skin. Do not use it if you are pregnant, trying to fall pregnant or breastfeeding, unless your doctor says you may. Keep it out of your eyes. Keep the jar closed, away from heat and sunlight.
