What it does for you

A soft balm that glides on and leaves a smooth, moisturised layer on your lips. Use it as often as you like during the day, and under lipstick if your lips feel dry. Each kind has its own feel and scent, so pick the one that suits you.

What's in the box

One lip balm stick of about 3g, in its card and plastic pack. The kinds are different balms from different makers, each in its own packaging. Honey (OneSpring): a clear balm with honey extract. Honey (images): a clear, glossy honey balm. Honey: a plain white stick named for honey, aloe and olive. Aloe (OneSpring): a green stick with aloe vera extract. Aloe (images): an aloe vera balm. Camomile (BIOAQUA): a camomile balm in a green stick. Strawberry (images): a strawberry balm the maker calls colour-changing, which leaves a soft pink tint.

How to use it

Twist up a little of the balm. Glide it over clean lips, from the middle out to each corner. Press your lips together. Put it on again whenever your lips feel dry, and last thing before bed. Close the cap firmly after each use.

Ingredients

Key ingredients named by the manufacturers: honey extract in the honey balms and aloe vera extract in the aloe balms. Camomile is named in the camomile balm, strawberry in the strawberry balm. Each balm is a different formula. Check the full ingredient list printed on your packaging before first use.

Before you start

Patch test first: dab a little on your inner arm and wait 24 hours. Do not use the honey balms if you are allergic to honey, bee products or propolis. Do not use the camomile balm if you react to daisies, ragweed or camomile tea. Do not use any balm on a cold sore or on cracked, bleeding lips. Stop if you get burning, swelling, itching or a rash. Keep it out of your eyes. Use your own stick only. Keep it away from heat and direct sunlight, as it can melt in a hot car.
