Clay Mask Stick, 40g

By three o'clock your forehead is shiny again. Your nose feels like it collected the whole day. This is a clay mask you can put on without a bowl, a brush or a mess.

What it does for you

It is a clay mask in a twist-up stick, like a big lip balm. You glide it straight onto your face, wait, and rinse. Skin feels clean, matte and fresh afterwards. Because there is nothing to scoop or mix, it is easy to do on a weeknight.

What's in the box

One, two or three sticks of 40 g each, in the formula you choose. Green tea is the green stick. Eggplant is the purple stick. Each has a screw-on cap.

How to use it

Wash your face and pat it nearly dry. Twist up a little of the stick. Glide it over your T-zone or wherever you feel oily, in a thin, even layer. Keep it away from your eyes, eyebrows and lips. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water and follow with your moisturiser. Once or twice a week is plenty. Twist the stick back down and close the cap tightly so it does not dry out.

Is this the one for you

Ingredients

Key ingredients named by the manufacturer: green tea, Dendrobium officinale powder, shea butter, bergamot, Centella asiatica and argan oil. The eggplant stick also names eggplant extract. Check the full ingredient list printed on your packaging before first use.

Before you start

Patch test first: put a little on your inner arm and wait 24 hours. Shea butter and argan oil come from nuts, so take care if you have a nut allergy. Bergamot can make skin more sensitive to sun, so wear sunscreen the next day. Keep it out of your eyes, and rinse with water if any gets in. Do not use it on broken, sunburnt or freshly shaved skin. Do not leave it on until it cracks and pulls. Tingling that turns to burning, itching or redness that lasts means rinse it off and stop. If spots are painful or will not settle, see a pharmacist or doctor rather than a mask.
